There are so many lessons we can take away from nature. Lessons that open us up to consciousness. Lessons that can break us open to the greatest expression of Who We Really Are.
Trees bend in concert with the wind. They don't bicker. They don't create a fuss over what they cannot control. They just flow. We too can flow with what Is rather than arguing with it. That doesn't mean we don't act. Rather, we are in a better position to act when we come from a place of surrendering to what Is.
Seeds must first be in the dark for a time before finding their way to the light so they can eventually blossom. Only through contrast in our lives can we fully appreciate the good. We wouldn't even know light if not for darkness. In other words, when we choose a positive perspective, we turn pain into power. We can then blossom into our greatest potential.
Rain nourishes. Our plants. Our earth. Our bodies. When we focus on the positive aspects of even the most miserable days, there is purpose and beauty to be found.
Wind cleanses. Even a violent storm eventually passes, leaving the air freshener, cleaner. A stormy situation has the power of transformation, if we choose to see it that way.
Loons and other fowl flap their wings fiercely after a "disagreement", then go back to being calm. They do this to release the leftover negative energy. When we hold onto negative energy, we are brought to dis-ease. But when we allow the energy to flow through and out, then it is released. This opens us to healing and positive energies.
Take a walk in nature and see for yourself all the beauty, calm and serenity it has to offer.
